Get To Know Elle

Q: What is your experience as a webcam model?

A: I have been a webcam model for many years now, I've worked on a few of the UK Babe/TV Channels, I've done the iconic phone shaking, laid butt-naked on a set with a cameraman adjusting the view. I've told someone over the phone they have a tiny todger (at their request, I'm not mean I promise) while the producer laughs at my insults. I love the industry and have enjoyed working in it. I have never really been one for making content, so the live streaming side of things has really suited me, and I also love working from home. I've found working from home as a webcam model gave me so much more freedom to control my time and have a better work-life balance. I've done the 9-5 grind and it didn't suit me.

Q: What is your favourite/funniest request?

I have had loads! One of my specialties is roleplay, I've had someone ask me to pretend to be a superhero who gets defeated, I must admit I struggled with that one! I was stood there punching thin air and pretending to fight a super villain that doesn't really exist - thank God no-one else could see. I've been asked to laugh at someone for losing a bet and shooting him up into space as punishment, I've been asked to act out turning my clients into statues like Medusa, there is no limit to the kind of things you'll get asked to do as a webcam model and the weirder requests are my favourite!

Q: What inspired you to start Diamond Elites, and what is your vision for the agency?

A: I was inspired to start Diamond Elite Models after seeing how many agencies promise the world and don’t deliver. I believe joining this industry can be life changing in such a positive way, but I believe it can be sugar-coated by agencies and mainstream media. My aim with Diamond Elites was to show models how this industry can work around your life, whether you’re attempting to work part-time or full-time and provide them with the support they need. I know how scary the adult industry looks to a new person, and there are some horror stories out there, I wanted Diamond Elite Models to be a safe space for new and experienced models. Somewhere that can provide them the support they need, whenever they need it. One of our models has branched out into other areas of this industry and couldn’t believe the difference in culture, it made me proud to be where we are today as a company, with models of all experience levels willing to help each other.

Q: How do you differentiate Diamond Elites from other webcam agencies in the industry?

A: As mentioned above, we don’t promise the world and then underdeliver. If you can put in the time and consistency, you can make an incredible income. Some models start off making a thousand a week, others need time to build it up. We are all different and I don't want a new model starting with us, thinking they're going to be making thousands a week and quitting in their first week because it didn't live up to their expectations. Like I said, for some models it can take weeks or months to build up to that kind of income. There are quiet days and weeks, and there are days and weeks where you’ll feel on top of the world. This industry can be unstable so we always recommend models start saving for the quiet times when possible.

I wanted Diamond Elite Models to be a safe space for new and experienced models.

Q: How can models ensure they have the best start in the industry?

A: Be open-minded, approachable and friendly. Make sure you start putting money aside to upgrade your equipment. A good webcam, decent lighting and fast internet speeds make all the difference. You're not expected to have all this when you start, and if you're just camming here and there it might not be worth it, but if you want to take this job seriously then definitely start thinking about investing in your equipment when you start earning some money. It doesn't have to be the most expensive in the world, and your set-up doesn't have to look like something out of a TV show, but a crisp, clear, bright image, tidy background and smooth stream really make all the difference. Also, don't be afraid of saying no!

Q: Can you walk us through the process of how you select webcam models for your agency?

A: We aren’t selective with who we choose to work with us, if you register, you're in. You can never predict who is going to do well in this industry and who isn’t, we give everyone a chance. We find those who are motivated tend to do the best.

...it made me proud to be where we are today as a company, with models of all experience levels willing to help each other.

Q: What strategies do you implement to ensure the safety and security of both models and clients on your platform?

A: We make sure models are given tips on how to ensure they are safe on webcam, including not giving out their real name or where they live, being careful when taking selfies to upload to their profile and hiding phone screens. We only work with reputable websites who also ensure the safety and security of our models through their own technology and systems.

Q: How do you handle challenges such as disputes between models or with clients?

A: When it comes to clients and models, we encourage models to come to us regarding any dispute. Models will never be responded to with hostility or annoyance. We'll ask for screenshots where required, and in instances where clients have been abusive or attempted to scam or manipulate a model, they have been blocked and banned. If models have committed to creating content for a customer but something has come up out of the models control, she will never be penalised by us. All she has to do is promptly contact me and I will liaise with the website (liaise is a strong word, with evidence websites have never said no!) and get a refund issued. I understand things happen and I’m never going to punish or penalise a model.

When it's come to disputes between models - this is rare, and I wouldn't even call the instances we've had 'disputes' - models are spoken to individually to see what the problem is and see if we can come to an agreement between them.

We only work with reputable websites who also ensure the safety and security of our models through their own technology and systems.

Q: What measures do you take to promote a positive and inclusive work environment for your models?

A: We have 3 chat mentors who are there to help guide and aid models in their journey with us. They also monitor the group chat with me so if anything negative arises they can notify me straight away or deal with it as appropriate. Where there has been issues between models (which is rare) it is dealt with fairly. We do not tolerate any negativity or bullying in this agency. We do not allow discrimination against anyone, everyone will feel seen and heard and we will never tell someone their experience is wrong or didn't happen. If a model ever felt that they had a negative experience it would be dealt with.

Q: What is your advice to anyone who is looking to join the industry?

A: Make sure you do research into the websites and/or agencies you are joining. Make sure they are reputable and treat their models well. We don't have contracts, but some agencies do, so it's crucial to ensure you're happy with the agency you decide to go with. Ask questions, you will never ask someone too many questions if they are genuine.
